To celebrate 2026 Chinese New Year, TEAM WANG design partners with JDB(加多寶), a heritage Chinese herbal tea brand, to launch a collaborative collection that reinterprets festive traditions through a contemporary design lens.
Themed “Hope You Get Rich” (添旺添宝), this collaboration translates the warmth of festive traditions into a modern framework. Cultural symbols are not revisited as memory, but reactivated as part of the present.
Drawing inspiration from Tang-suit silhouettes, TEAM WANG design translates them into refined, wearable forms where modern tailoring meets traditional construction. Materials such as wool blends and corduroy reinterpret seasonal comfort, while stand collars and symbolic embroidery create a visual dialogue between heritage and modernity. Signature elements, including the embroidered “寳” motif and monogram jacquard linings, function as embedded cultural markers, reinforcing the idea that tradition becomes a quiet foundation rather than an overt statement.
Beyond product, TEAM WANG design debuts a pop-up space in Guangzhou, creating an environment where visual storytelling and participatory interactions converge. Here, the collection moves beyond display into live experience, allowing visitors to engage with the emotional dimension of the holiday.
