A wonderful reimagination of Chinese Chessboard and the Great Wall.

At Water Square in Shenzhen’s MixC, we unveiled the TEAM WANG “STANDARD” CONCEPT SPACE, reimagining the theme of Cookies 3 through the lens of Chinese chess and the Great Wall. From above, the layout forms the shape of a chessboard, symbolizing life itself, every move is yours to decide, and there are no absolute right or wrong answers, only the history you create.

Steel-wire meshes inspired by the Great Wall encircle the space, while light pumice columns and bastions blur the line between reality and abstraction. Inside, six large-scale installations of “soldier,” “pawn,” “horse,” “canon,” “chariot,” and “general” are brought to life by our signature INVISIBLE MAN, while the iconic Chu River and Han Border divides the two sides.

Our keyword for this chapter is “STANDARD”, and we invite everyone to reflect on a simple but profound question: What’s your standard of happiness? Happiness has no universal answer. It’s personal, abstract, and different for each of us. Through this space, we want every visitor to pause, reflect, and carry forward our spirit: KNOW YOURSELF, MAKE YOUR OWN HISTORY.
