Team Wang design Launch “Under the Castle” Haunted House at Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 12

TEAM WANG design has partnered with Resorts World Sentosa for the first time to unveil the brand-new haunted house, “Under the Castle”, at Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 12. This haunted house seamlessly blends TEAM WANG design’s bold aesthetics with a haunting narrative, introducing a terrifying version of the beloved characters, Pumpkie and Spookie. The haunted house will open to the public on September 27th, as the largest haunted house in this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, we offering visitors a uniquely immersive horror journey.

“Under the Castle” experience traces its roots back to TEAM WANG design’s SPARKLES - KNOCK KNOCK series, which expressed the pursuit of freedom and boundless imagination. Last year, the story of Pumpkie - the pumpkin thief, and Spookie, the mischievous ghost, was brought to life in Shanghai through a limited-time experience, receiving widespread praise. This year, TEAM WANG design has upgraded the haunted house in collaboration with Universal Studios Singapore, creating a more immersive and captivating journey. Drawing inspiration from comic book narratives, the new version offers a richer, more detailed atmosphere, allowing visitors to delve deeper into the world of Pumpkie and Spookie.

At the Singapore version of the haunted house, visitors will not only encounter the familiar characters of Pumpkie and Spookie, they will also be introduced to new, thrilling elements. As visitors navigate the fog-covered ancient castle, they will experience Spookie’s mischievous tricks and Pumpkie’s courageous resistance, while uncovering dark secrets hidden within the castle walls.

During the Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights media preview on September 25th, attendees had the opportunity to explore the newly designed haunted house, which is closely tied to its comic book storyline. The haunted house also incorporates elements inspired by Jackson Wang’s iconic album “Magic Man” and other surprises, waiting for daring visitors to uncover.

With the launch of the “Under the Castle” haunted house in Singapore, TEAM WANG design will simultaneously release its “Under the Castle” Halloween collection in October, 2024. The collection will be available for sale at the Universal Studios Store inside Universal Studios Singapore and displayed at Resorts World Sentosa’s Hotel Ora lobby, marks the first time a Chinese IP has been featured at Universal Studios. The collection incorporates playful humor into its designs and creatively expands on the “Pumpkie” and “Spookie” characters. Items include, but are not limited to, T-shirts, keychains, fridge magnets, and plush toys. While expanding the product line and enhancing overall styling options, the collection also strengthens the connection with consumers, meeting the personalized needs of different audiences. TEAM WANG design has partnered with Resorts World Sentosa to create exclusive hotel amenities, including pouches, slippers, combs, and toothbrushes. Guests who book a stay at the Hotel Ora or Equarius Hotel will have the chance to receive these limited-edition products.
